Julia with Mark Duffy
ACTRESS Julia Haworth, who played Claire Peacock in “Coronation Street” until the beginning of this year, helped Oldham man Mark Duffy and his business partner Elaine Jackson launch The Duffy Group.
Set up to assist independent business owners, small and medium-sized enterprises and companies, The Duffy Group will enable owners and directors to access expertise in accounting, human resources, events, will writing, training, health and safety.
Mr Duffy, from Higher Crompton, and Ms Jackson, from Bolton, had cup cakes available for their launch... without realising it was National Cupcake Week.
The group comprises Duffy Accounting, Duffy HR, Duffy Training, Duffy Events, Duffy Debt Recovery and Duffy Health and Safety with the head office at Ashworth House, Deakins Business Park, Bolton.
Mr Duffy said: “We started the group with the goal of providing business with the support they need to operate successfully, day-to-day and when planning for the future.”
