FREE breakfast seminars to help employers through the legal minefield of employment-legislation changes are being given by Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors.
Offering advice on grievances to minimise Employment Tribunal claims and an outline of tax-free expenses and benefits that employers can offer, the seminars will be presented in conjunction with Booth Ainsworth Chartered Accountants. Speakers will also take a look at how social media has impacted the workplace and how firms should handle the increased demand for the use of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google.
The first seminar was held last week at the firm’s Hollinwood office with another taking place this morning in Stockport.
Oldham businessman Paul Rooney, of Europanel, said: “This was a great opportunity to find out how the laws have changed and how those changes will impact my company.
“As employers we need to be aware and rely on the Pearson Hinchliffe team to keep us up to date.
“It’s a difficult area of law and they make it easy to understand and applicable to us.”
