YFM Fund Managers, an equity fund house in Manchester city centre, are the newest sponsors of the One Oldham Business Awards.
The business, which also has offices in Liverpool, has connections in Oldham having invested in Elfin Care Homes Ltd, based in Chadderton.
It has joined the list of category sponsors and will take over the Businessman of the Year award.
Joe Bergin, who manages the Manchester office, spoke of his delight at the “opportunity to work with the Oldham business community” adding: “It is all too easy these days to sit in the office, here in Manchester, and do our business. We want to get out there and meet our potential customers.
“We are really excited about getting involved in these awards and looking forward to our involvement.”
For the fourth year running the awards have a full complement of major sponsors and negotiations are at an advanced stage for an 11th major sponsor to join the celebrations at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, on Friday, March 21, — the business community’s biggest night of the year.
More than 460 business leaders and their guests enjoyed a fabulous evening last year, raising more than £2,000 for two Oldham charities, Oldham Youth Zone and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
All finalists receive two free tickets for the black tie gala dinner. Visit www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk to download an entry form.
