Toy firm appy to be a winner!

OLDHAM toy distributor Character Options was among the inaugural winners of a new category at the industry’s national showcase at Olympia London.

The Leesfield Mill, Lees, company, was one of three winners of the first Best New App Toys with it’s AppGear.

In the traditional categories, Hornby Hobbies ruled supreme, receiving three Best New Toy gongs. Character Options, Flair and Vivid Toy Group took two medals apiece.

Licensed toys, in which Character Group is a also had a strong showing across multiple categories with toys from key children’s entertainment properties Ben 10, Moshi Monsters, Doctor Who, Hello Kitty, Mike the Knight and Fireman Sam featuring prominently.
