“We do it better” . . . Carrie Clayton and Paul Watts
AN Oldham print broker has diversified his business to such an extent he has won business from high street giants Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury’s and the Co-op.
Paul Watts, from Springhead, has been in the print trade all his life and has used his knowledge of the industry, experience and contacts to build on a base he started in his home only three years ago.
Now in a suite of offices at Cairo House, Waterhead, INKcomparable is one of the borough’s fastest growing businesses.
Mr Watts (58), a former Oldham rugby union club captain, is determined to maintain the momentum and has launched a range of promotional goods to complement the range of general print, from brochures and leaflets to inserts, stationery, catalogues and leaflets.
He said: “I understand print... it is all I have ever done. Here at INKcomparable I work with many sectors of commerce and industry and believe I have built a healthy reputation as a reliable supplier of all things print.
“Much of our work comes from word-of-mouth recommendations from many of loyal customers.”
The company is now planning a series of free informal open days for young designers and print buyers to help build their print knowledge.
