Prime time to double the size of premises

FOUR years on from opening as an independent wholesale electrical business, partners Darren and Christine Griffiths are celebrating a doubling in size of their premises.

Prime Electrical Wholesalers Ltd has been based at the Pandora Business Park, Greengate, since being established in 2008.

The husband and wife team, from Chadderton, have a combined experienced totalling 55 years in the industry, having previously worked together.

They have invested around £20,000 to expand their business, including a new software package to support the stock and delivery elements of the business, and fund the expansion.

When their previous employers were taken over, Darren opted to go it alone and set up Prime in 1,000 sq ft premises, selling a comprehensive range of industrial and domestic equipment to the trade.
