Winning software sets the yardstick

MY Yard, the UK’s first online waste management software for skip hire and scrap metal firms, has won the Best Enterprise Technology Company category at the second annual Northern Tech Awards.

The software was developed in Delph by Fifth Limb Ltd, established five years ago by Geeta Thomas (36) and her remote team Wayne Anderson, Dominic North and Dave Williams.

My Yard was selected from a record number of entries.

Managing director Geeta told Chronicle Business: “During the last year we have signed a number of new contracts across the country and these successes have, in part, resulted in this award. We are delighted to win”.
