David is Latics’ latest signing

LATICS fan David Broadbent has joined the commercial department after working at the club part time for nine years.
The 31 year old, from Delph, will work with commercial manager Jenny Warbuton as a sales and marketing executive at Boundary Park. David has supported his home-town club for 25 years.
David dropped out of university to pursue a career running bars and clubs before starting on a career with sales, initially with weekly papers and for a short time at the Oldham Chronicle.
The last seven years was spent travelling the world helping promote products manufactured by an Oldham engineering firm.
The part-time stadium announcer is “delighted” to be working full-time for his favourite club.
