IN safe hands: David Baxter of aSondico
Iconic football brand Sondico has returned to the specialist goalkeeping market following the naming of Manchester-based dbxsports as the brand’s new licensee.
Once of part of Seton Products Ltd, Sondico is steeped in goalkeeping history, with legendary stoppers including Peter Shilton, Ray Clemence, Neville Southall and Andy Goram all having worn its products during a golden period for the brand. More recently David James, Brad Friedel and Shay Given have put their trust in Sondico gloves.
David Baxter, from Diggle, is the product and marketing director for dbxsports. He came to Oldham in 1990 and worked at Seton as football product manager from 1990-1993.
He said: “This is an extremely exciting period for Sondico and dbxsports.”
