AN Oldham personalised gifts business has enjoyed a business boost from “Dragons’ Den” star Theo Paphitis.
Amanda Kilbride, owner of Bluebelle Create, Failsworth, tweeted Theo about her business during Small Business Sunday, a weekly initiative set up by the Dragon.
The BBC star re-tweeted Amanda’s message to his 249,000 followers and as a result, the business www.bluebellecreate.co.uk has almost 200 more followers and extra orders for the gifts range.
Amanda specialises in original handmade bespoke gifts.
She said: “All my items are lovingly hand-produced to order — no two are the same.”
Amanda paints on to existing pottery and her plates are available through her dedicated website.
Amanda’s business was also profiled on a new website www.theopaphitissbs.com — access is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.
