PIE maker Mark Bradley has been recognised at the annual British Pie Awards.
Mr Bradley, from Lees, received two silver awards, one for his pork and Bury black pudding variety and one for his steak and cowheel creation.
The winning pies competed alongside a record number of 900 pies baked by professional bakers and butchers in the contest, hosted by the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Association.
Mr Bradley said: “We put a lot of hard work into making the best pies possible and to be recognised at these highly prestigious awards among other excellent bakers is such an honour.
Bradley’s pie shop is in King’s Road, Ashton.
