A MOVE to Oldham has paid off for the team from Entwistle . . . (from the left) contracts manager Guy Owen, director Mike Bentley, director Barry McLoughlin and Alan Penketh, estimator
AN electrical contracting firm which relocated to Oldham earlier this year is celebrating 40 years in business — and a boost in work.
BS Entwistle Electrical Contractors, which started life in 1972 in Bolton and has gradually established itself across the North-West, transferred all its operations to premises in Fields New Road, Chadderton in January.
Since the move the company has picked up a significant amount of new contracts, many with major PLC house builders.
The company has expanded its workforce by about a third to satisfy demand.
Director Barry McLoughlin, who has been with the firm for 10 years, said: “The past few years haven’t been easy but we have remained resilient and continued to provide a quality service.’
