AN infrastructure, support services and construction group, with offices throughout Scotland and the North-East of England, has set up an Oldham base.
Robertson opened its new office at Oldham Broadway Business Park, by Junction 21 of the M60..
Andrew Cowan, chief executive officer of Robertson Group said: “The opening of the Oldham office forms part of a business strategy to create regional operational centres.
“This new office demonstrates our commitment to the area and our clients and our determination to continue growth locally.”
Robertson clients include blue chip private-sector companies such as Tesco, ASDA, M&S, Travelodge, Northumberland Estates, Diageo, Inchcape and NNT LIFT Company, as well as the public sector, with repeat work from the NHS, local authorities, Ministry of Defence and housing associations.
The firm’s current construction workload is about £230 million, and the aim is to increase that through its regional centres.
The Oldham base will be run by operations manager Peter Mattimore and business development manager Chris Snow.
Both have more than 30 years experience of the industry and they previously worked together for several years at Gleeson Homes in Manchester.
