Accreditation opens up new opportunities for Ferranti
TWO years of intense preparation and a £20,000 investment have paid off for Ferranti Technologies.
The defence and aerospace specialist has been awarded a major electronics accreditation at its Waterhead plant, which will allow the firm to seek new leads with industry giants.
The exhaustive process involved completing an audit checklist with 24 sections and more than 300 sub-sections. Every question had to be covered with clear procedures and demonstrable compliance.
