STAFF attending the annual Bidvest awards at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, raised £1,000 for the Shaw Distress Fund.
Some of the night’s winners even donated their prizes to the fund.
The company supplied food and drink to affected families in the immediate aftermath of the blast that left many people homeless.
The total raised in the night was doubled by management of the food distribution company, whose HQ is at Salmon Fields in Royton.
The hall was decked in a red, white and blue Olympic theme for the event.
