A HATHERSHAW company is cleaning up all over the world thanks to its alcohol-free antibacterial products.
Creative Supply Solutions’ (CSS) halal-approved, environmentally-friendly and biodegradable products have become a big hit in the Middle East.
The company has now launched a range of products in Pakistan under the brand name HiClean, and now supplies a range of Pakistan government contracts for airlines, healthcare and the food manufacturing industry.
CSS has been trading for fewer than five years but exports more than 60 per cent of its products.
Managing director Nigel Oakes - who had no background in cleaning products when the firm was set up - brought a team of chemists together with the brief of creating a range of alcohol-free products capable of detroying C Diff, MRSA and Ecoli bacteria.
“We started by producing a hard surface cleaner which could be used in hospitals, schools, food preparation areas, clinics and so on, and then developed a range of handwashes,’ he said.
The company is no developing pet and garden products.
