There are a couple of breakfast meetings coming up which you may wish to get into your diaries . . .
Another of the popular business breakfasts with Oldham Council leader Jim McMahon and chief executive Charlie Parker takes place on Wednesday, October 24, from 7.30 and 9.30am at the Fresca Restaurant in Delph.
The breakfast will provide businesses with the opportunity to hear how the council is working to support local businesses and to speak to Councillor McMahon and Mr Parker about their business growth issues directly through a question-and-answer session.
Places are restricted to two per business, first come, first served. Book by emailing shirley.burns@oldham.gov.uk stating any specific dietary requirements.
The next Oldham and Rochdale Construction Networking Meeting takes place at 8am on Wednesday, November 7, at Earl Business Centre, Dowry Street, Hathershaw.
The event will pass on development and construction opportunities in the boroughs and will feature presentations on the Oldham College Investment Programme, current and future opportunities with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing and details on the new Business Information Modelling system that will become mandatory for all businesses working on public-sector construction projects post 2016.
Call Vicki Kerr on 0161-359 3597 or email vicki.kerr@gmchamber.co.uk to book a place.
