Friends open therapy centre
THREE friends from Shaw are living the dream . . . by opening their own business.
The trio — Jan Hunt (59), from Shaw, Kim Reekie (41), now of Dukinfield but from Shaw, and Joanne Byrne (36), from Chadderton, have invested around £10,000 to convert rooms in Market Street, Shaw, into the Mind, Body and Spirit Centre.
Inner Nutshell offers a range of treatments and therapies: “Our main aim is to help the people who can’t afford top prices for therapies and to offer a sanctuary for people to call and have a brew and a chat about things,” said Jan.
All three partners share a passion for holistic therapies, reiki and all things spiritual. There will also be psychic nights and suppers, alternative pamper evenings and other attractions.
A small section of the premises displays crystals and other artifacts for sale. The trio will also stage events around the area.
