Olympic bronze medallist Nicola White has won sponsorship from Chadderton business AMP Wire.
Managing director Pam Pelham was inspired by Nicola’s story and invited the 24-year-old former Hulme Grammar School pupil to visit the company at the Sun iron works in Ward Street.
Nicola chatted to staff of AMP Wire and sister company AMP Fab Ltd.
Pam said: “We are all proud to support Nicola as she makes her bid for the European Championships and the Rio Olympics.”
Nicola said: “When you are a full-time athlete everything helps.
“We receive financial support from the Lottery, but only when we are in training, so to receive help like this from Pam and her colleagues is a huge boost and I am really grateful.”
