ENTRIES for the One Oldham Business Awards were due to close on Friday but the steering group, as in previous years, has extended the deadline by a week.
“Entries are at a really healthy level,” said Steve Lowe, a consultant at NatWest and treasurer of the steering group since the awards began in 2009.
“We already have a great competition but the extra week will give those who have been extra busy to complete their forms. We want this fifth year of the awards to be the biggest and best to date.”
Nominations are also accepted from third parties — last year lots of customers nominated their favourite stores and shops in the retail category. All the details are at www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk.
