Real support from Catherine Young’s virtual business
A FORMER school secretary and police forensics support worker has set up in business as a “virtual office”.
Catherine Young has changed her lifestyle to coincide with her husband retirement from the police.
The 46 year old operates Saddleworth Office Solutions from her home in Diggle and is already attracting clients.
“I believe there is a market for what I offer, whether that is helping businesses that don’t need full-time staff or people seeking cover for maternity leave or sick leave,” she said.
Catherine offers services such as typing, filing, mailshots, research, travel arrangements, phone messages, data input and emails.
Husband Nigel is studying book keeping to extend the business’s range of activities.
