Growth target in sight after rescue

TWO men who bought their employers’ business out of administration are thriving in new premises in Waterhead.
Rick Leach and John Dean lost their jobs when the Factory Reconstruction Company in Bell Street, Mumps, failed 12 months ago.
Rick (42) from Lees, and John (43) from Mossley, put their skills together and came up with a plan to rescue the company, founded in 1941.
As Precision Pallets Ltd they moved to units in Heywood Street and now make timber pallets to order
“We determined that within 18 months we would double in size,” said Rick, adding that the company remains on target to achieve the gowth figure.
