KASH ASHRAF . . . think early
CHANGES to the Queen Elizabeth Hall mean the One Oldham Business Awards have been brought forward this year to March 21.
WHich means the deadline for entry has been fixed at January 31.
Kash Ashraf, a leading member of Oldham’s Asian business community and a member of the awards steering group for five years, is keen to make sure the date is in the mind of anyone who thinks his or her business could be a contender.
“People get Christmas out of the way before thinking about the business awards. We know from past years there is a rush of nominations in the New Year - but this time I am encouraging everyone to think early. The deadline will come on us very quickly in the New Year. Without nominations we don’t have an event - so please download a nomination form and start on a proposal — today!”
The awards have again attracted a lot of sponsorship from the private sector.
The award categories, criteria and entry form can be found on the awards website, www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk
