Tunafish Media - formed in 2011 by Sam Jones from Failsworth and his Salford University coursemates James McDonald and Richard Brooks - has been nominated for seven industry awards.
The trio studied TV production and decided to form a company after spending several years working for various agencies in Manchester.
Tunafish, based at the Sharp Project in Oldham Road, is a video production and communications agency specialising in web, broadcast and events footage. Clients include Nissan, Liam Gallagher’s clothing line Pretty Green, shopping centre Liverpool One and Harvey Nichols.
Tunafish is in line for two City of Manchester Business Awards (COMBAS) and five Golden Hedgehogs (PR awards).
James said: “We’re really honoured to be included in both of these sets of awards and it’s both a massive honour and completely mind-blowing.”
