Angie’s salon chain dream a snip closer
Date published: 04 April 2014
FIVE years ago Angie Brown opened her first hair salon with an ambition to eventually own a chain.
And that dream comes a step closer on Saturday when the Mossley entrepreneur opens her second Angie Brown Hair Company salon opposite Mossley’s George Lawton Hall.
Two new staff will join the team, bringing total staff at the new premises and first salon in Manchester Road, Greenfield, to eight.
Angie has invested almost £25,000 on the new premises, a former greengrocery business.
Angie told Chronicle Business: “I’d love to own a chain of salons, but location is important, as are the right premises.”
The new salon opens on Saturday.
