Queen’s Award celebration

OLDHAM company Innovative Technology has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise from Warren Smith, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.

Colleagues from the Derker Street company’s offices in Ireland, Germany, Russia and Spain visited to help local staff celebrate.

Managing director Aidan Towey said: “The Queen’s Awards are one of the most prestigious business accolades in the UK and we are honoured to have received the award this year.

“Being the third Queen’s Award in the company’s history we wanted to mark the occasion with a party for all of our European staff, celebrating not only the Queen’s Award but three years of exceptional growth and record sales.”
