Ceiling blind’s hot potential

AN Oldham man has come up with an innovative window blind set to take the conservatory world by storm.
Peter Hilton from Royton is the owner of WarmCool and has been in the conservatory and window business for 20 years.
“Conservatories can be far too hot in summer and far too cold in winter, making them virtually unusable for eight to nine months of the year,” he said.
His solution is a patented tilt-and-turn insulated conservatory ceiling blind manufactured locally after months of development.
“Fitting one means the conservatory can be used as an extra room every day of the year,” said Mr Hilton, who is already in talks with one of the country’s major brand-name manufacturers.
He is expecting huge interest in the product which he intends make available at DIY stores in a flat-pack version.
