A NEW Oldham business is offering training courses to help young people get into the lucrative Asian wedding market.
Rukia Khan (33), from Werneth, has invested £30,000 in Arisa’s Makeover, in Oxford Street, Werneth - a women’s hair and beauty salon.
“Everyone is welcome,” says Rukia, “We are not an exclusively Asian business.”
Rukia is now diversifying into training and is recruiting for her first academy session, a five-day course starting on December 1.
Eight women will be trained in the many facets of hair and makeup that cover a typical three-day Asian wedding ceremony.
