Pelican scoops award

Pelican Communications has been named best small agency at the Northern Marketing Awards.

More than 400 creative, digital and communications professionals from across the region saw Pelican beat stiff competition from seven other companies.

Pelican, of Mill Street, Uppermill, was commended for its “compelling and clear” entry.

Pelican managing director Michael Bennett said: “It’s an honour to be commended, especially when there is such strong competition. Not only does the award recognise the results we achieve for clients, but how we operate as a business.
