NORTHPLANET is the latest business attracted to Oldham town centre’s burgeoning Independent Quarter.
The web-based design and digital design business, which has also ventured into other related areas with selected partners, has taken space on the second floor of 69 Rhodes Bank, Union Street.
The property has been empty for several years and overlooks the Prince’s Gate scheme, which will be home to the new Marks and Spencer retail development.
Established four years ago in Chadderton by directors Mike Lane and Danny Mills, the business employs four people and has ambitious plans for growth.
The firm was helped to relocate by the Oldham Council Town Team, which accompanied Northplanet directors on viewings of several properties before settling on the privately-owned space and helped to negotiate a five-year lease.
