WITH the deadline for entry to this year’s One Oldham Business Awards fast approaching, entries are nearing 60 across the 10 categories.
Over the past seven years of the awards, which attract up to 450 people to Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, the final two weeks before deadline has always seen a surge in entries.
“The deadline seems to crystallise the thinking of lots of people,” said steering group member Kash Ashraf.
The organisers are confident of topping 100 entries this year for the main event of the Oldham business calendar. The guest list for the May 15 event is this year expected to top 500 people for the first time.
Entry forms for the 10 categories can be found on www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk.
