HOLLINWOOD home store Housing Units has reported record sales for 2014.
Calendar year sales increased from £25.1 million to £27.3 million - a record for the independent store. The main contributing factors include a double-digit increase in furniture sales and a 30 per cent rise in Christmas sales.
The results came on the back of a substantial marketing and PR campaign on TV, radio and social media.
The company hopes to employ another 20 staff in the coming months.
Established in 1947, Housing Units boasts 200,000 square foot of retail and distribution space over a 10-acre site.
