MORE than 400 tickets have been sold for the 2015 One Oldham Business Awards dinner at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham on May 15.
Another 100 have been set aside for the 30 finalists to invite colleagues, family and friends. Last year the event attracted more than 470 people and the organisers hope this year to top 500 for the first time.
The judges have put back their deadline another two weeks to allow final entries: “We are well advanced and the number of nominations is very healthy, but at lweast six companies we know about haven’t yet submitted their entries. As we are well ahead organisationally, we’ve decided to push back the deadline to March 16,” explained chairman Steve Kilroy. Nominations for awards are already up on last year
