Export growth expected

THE majority of small and medium-sized firms in Oldham expect export trade to grow in the next five years, making an important contribution towards economic recovery.
A new Great British Export Report by FedEx suggests 78 per cent of Manchester’s small and medium-sized businesses expect to generate higher revenue from exports.
Trevor Hoyle, Northern Europe vice-president for FedEx Express, said: “British SMEs are a driving force in improving the economy. SMEs recognise how lucrative exporting can be and more are going global.”
