Tax shop on awards shortlist

MOSSLEY Tax Shop has been shortlisted for two categories in a national financial industry award.

The firm - noted for its amusing advertising - iss a finalist in this year’s British Accountancy Awards in two categories — Independent Firm of the Year (North) and Community. Winners will be announced in London in November.

The firm has also been shortlisted in the North-West Finance Awards for small accountancy practice of the year, and two employees have been shortlisted in the assistant accountant of the year section.

Founder and partner Yvonne Cookson said: “This is a massive achievement. These are exciting times for us.”
