Network meeting a winner

AN inaugural business networking sessions held in Uppermill received an overwhelmingly positive response.
The event, at Java, was organised by Philip Pearson of Morgan Pearson Ltd, local business advisers and more than 30 local businesses gathered to share ideas and experiences.
Mr Pearson (44), from Delph, said: “The event was a great start is helping local business owners get to know each other, share knowledge and develop trusted relationships which will be crucial for the future.”
Mr Pearson, who has been part of the Oldham Business Leadership Group and Norman Stoller Enterprise Fund, said he was keen to hold the event at Java as the cafe is a great example of a successful local business.
