Accountants' awards thrill

AN ACCOUNTANTS and tax advisers' firm has been nominated for a series of top financial industry awards.

Mossley Tax Shop was last week named regional runner-up in the Financial Services category of this year's Enterprise Vision Awards, known as EVAs which celebrate women in business.

Furthermore the Mossley firm has been shortlisted in three categories of the North West Finance Awards, which takes place tomorrow, Thursday, September 29, at Bolton's Macron Stadium, and two categories of the British Accountancy Awards, held in London at the end of November.

Yvonne Cookson, a partner at Mossley Tax Shop, said: "We're delighted with being shortlisted across this range of professional awards.

"We were named runners-up in the North-West regional EVA Awards in Blackpool, which was a great achievement, and now we've been shortlisted in the North West Finance Awards and The British Accountancy Awards.

"This success is a credit to all our team and these are exciting times for the business.

"We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for further success."
