Car ditched after smash

FIRE crews and police were called to an abandoned car blocking the road in Glodwick in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Firefighters from Oldham were alerted to Glodwick Road where a vehicle had crashed on to the pavement and been left at the junction with Roundthorn Road at 1.20am.
