Police appeal for details on pair

CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with a vicious assault that left a man in a coma have been released.
At around 10.15pm on Tuesday, September 6, a 26-year-old man was approached my two men on Waterloo Street, Oldham, who he then appeared to befriend.
They proceeded to walk together on Walter Street but the two men then assaulted the victim and left him there.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was placed in an induced coma for two weeks due to his serious injuries.
Police have launched an investigation and have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the attack.
Detective Constable Andrew Swettenham, of GMP's Oldham borough, said: "This brutal assault has left the victim in hospital with numerous injuries.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who has witnessed the incident, or anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images to please contact police as soon as possible."
