THIEVES have broken into a tropical fish shop in Chadderton.
Offenders forced open fire doors to gain access at Fish World in Middleton Road before making off with shop tills in a company vehicle.
Three men were seen running from the site, which sells marine stock and tropical fish, following the incident at 6pm last Monday.
Oldham policing team said: "The offenders have got in through an insecure fire door and found the keys to the company vehicle.
"They have loaded the tills from the shop into the vehicle, driven it a short distance and smashed the tills in order to steal the cash within them.
"We do not have a description of the offenders and are waiting for the results of the forensic examination of the vehicle."
A post on GMP's Chadderton Facebook page said: "We have recently had two businesses burgled in Chadderton.
"The first occurred at 6pm on Monday. Three males were seen running from the scene."
A second incident in Middleton Road saw thieves break into Dr Kershaw's Hospice charity shop last Tuesday.
The overnight raid saw the shop ransacked, with more than £2,000 worth of damage caused, including money stolen from a collection box.
