CONSTRUCTION work on a two-storey Audi dealership and showroom have begun in Oldham.
The former Westhulme Hospital site, off Chadderton Way, is being transformed into a 17-car showroom and 24-bay service workshop as part of an £8 million investment.
Earlier this year Oldham Council struck a deal with Jardine Group, one of the UK's largest Audi dealers, to bring the dealership to Oldham, creating 87 jobs.
Although the land was not council-owned, officers have worked with the NHS trust to rubber stamp the deal.
