Steve Cullen is hoping to meet former colleagues from Park Cake Bakeries for a 40-year reunion he has organised this month.

Steve (57), who worked at the Ashton Road factory from 1976-1981, said: "Forty years is a lifetime. A lot of people met their wives and girlfriends there.

"It was a good period in our lives. We did a good job and we did it with a smile on our faces."
