War hero's funeral postponed

George Glass
THE funeral of George Glass, a former Japanese prisoner of war, has been postponed while a post mortem is carried out.
George, who was 102, passed away on November 14 at Lindenwood Care Home and his funeral was due to be held at Blackley Crematorium on December 2 where he would have received a guard of honour.
A new date will be allocated once the post mortem is completed.
