Crossbow seized, man held in raid on house

A MAN has been charged following an incident with a crossbow in Greenacres.
Armed police were called to a terrace house in Ryeburn Street on Friday afternoon.
Officers smashed in the front door and a crossbow was seized.
No one was injured and Oldham police confirmed that Stephen Lomax of nearby Hanson Street has been charged with common assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
