UPPERMILL residents were left without power for up to two hours due to a cable fault.
Electricity North-West informed residents in the OL3 post code area of the problem just after midday on Tuesday.
Forty-two homes and businesses along High Street and in the Moorgate area were affected.
Electricity North-West said at the time: "We have a local cable fault affecting Uppermill due to damage to our equipment.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the interruption to your supply and our engineers will work to restore your power as soon as possible."
A second cable fault due to third party damage affected Greenfield residents in Station Lane in the afternoon and into the night.
Engineers completed for the majority of residents by 8pm.
