POLICE are investigating after a kennel was possibly set alight in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Oldham were called to Brewerton Road, Clarksfield, at 2am to find the unoccupied outbuilding in the back yard of a terrace house on fire.
The female occupant of the house was alerted when a smoke alarm went off and also by her next door neighbour.
The kennel was badly damaged and there was slight damage caused to the back door of the house and the extension of the neighbouring house.
