A LIFE-SAVING campaign spreading across Saddleworth reached villagers in Delph this week.
Residents were given defibrillator training and life saving skills at Delph Methodist Church.
Saddleworth North councillor, Garth Harkness, said: "A few years ago when Alan Roughley, Derek Heffernan and I began to work for a defibrillator for every village we thought we would get some support from the ambulance service and many organisations but the response has been incredible. We now have some very good coverage of defibrillators for Saddleworth."
Oldham Mayor, Councillor Derek Heffernan, added: "In a cardiac arrest every minute counts."
