MANY Oldhamers feel "left behind" and "disenfranchised" after the vote to leave the EU, a new report shows.
The report outlines the implications of the "leave" result five months on.
Focusing on Oldham and Greater Manchester, the latest publication is an update on the July report which highlighted the effects of the result from June 23.
Council leader Jean Stretton said: "The vote to leave the EU has far reaching implications that go beyond economic uncertainty.
Stable
"In summary the latest data suggests that the economy is continuing to grow but is slowing down.
"There is wide-spread business pessimism post-referendum but largely stable consumer confidence.
"In the interim, the direction of convergence in attitudes between businesses and their customers will be a key determinant of just how the economy performs."
Uncertainty and postponed investment decisions are seen among businesses as opposed to panic or investment flight, according to Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
