CHRISTMAS card winner . . . Evie Kinghorn with Councillor Sykes
TALENTED Evie Kinghorn won a competition to design Shaw councillor Howard Sykes' official Christmas card.
The year 4 pupil at St Joseph's RE Primary School, Shaw, impressed him with her cheerful design of two robins wearing Santa hats.
Her whole class took part in the competition with Evie winning a book voucher for her efforts.
Councillor Sykes said: "There were some good entries but I just though Evie's design was light, bright, very Christmassy and filled the brief perfectly - and I like robins!"
