Citroen Picasso involved in crash on Honeywell Lane
A WOMAN had to be cut from a car following a crash in Oldham yesterday.
Firefighters from Hollins and Oldham were called to Honeywell Lane, at the junction with Keswick Avenue, shortly before 11am to rescue a woman who was trapped in a silver Citroen C4 Picasso
Crews, including the Technical Response Unit and Special Response Team from Ashton used cutting equipment, a grab bag and saw to extricate the woman.
The woman, who suffered neck and back injuries, was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital by North West Ambulance Services.
The male driver and two other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident were not seriously injured.
